Business Situation

  • Over 15 years of accumulated Master and Transactional data. 
  • Re-Implementation and Functional upgrade instantly became the choice of the customer after evaluating the ChainSys Smart Data Platform.

Key Challenges

  • Due to the volume of transactions, size of the data (7 TB), number of CEMLI objects, etc., a direct technical upgrade from 12.1.3 to 12.2.8 will be more complex.
  • Continuous expansion of business & extension of products and byproducts.
  • Resulting in volume of ticket and CR in support.
  • 15 years of historic data lead to data quality challenges.

Solution

  • Achieved 30% reduction in the number of incidents year on year.  
  • Took advantage of the Chain-Sys Data Platform and Smart BOTS to adopt constant changes in the Business.
  • Part of FDA compliance we were able to track CR’s development for the manufacturing and Shipment process.
  • Product Genealogy well maintained for Lot/Serial Tracking, kept track of all inventory transactions starting from the receipt of the lot /serial from the vendor through the manufacturing process.
  • The Oracle Certified Smart Data Platform ensured that highest levels of data security and compliance standards were maintained throughout the project.
  • Advised for the functional re-implementation using Smart Data Platform to optimize the data growth.
